AUTOBIOGRAPHY

Douglas Cox

Introduction

"My Heart Bypass Autobiography"
By COX, Douglas After my heart bypass operation, I continued on writing my other three books. It was late 2006 when thoughts began drifting through my mind about my operation. I had just recently had one memory thought drifted onto another memory thought, and on and on my memory thoughts went. I now scratch my head, I think to myself, I have a good true to the fact story to write here and that’s how this story that you are about to read now was borne. Everything I have written is purely from memory. I never wrote anything down at the time of it all happening. I didn’t know I was going to write a story about it. I recalled all what the hospital staff had told me at the time of it all happening; such people as the nurses, doctors, anaesthetist, cardiologist, heart surgeon etc etc. I was always asking them questions about what they were doing and why they were doing it, always putting my nose in maybe when I should have kept my nose out, but it all paid off in the end and you can now read my actual story of how it all happened.
My natural way with people is always to bring out the best of humour in them; all the hilarious activities I write of are all true. To the fact, stories of what happened at the time, all purely brought on by me for my devilment of bringing out the best of humour in people. I have written my story in layman’s terms, just like the patient sees it.
A very reassuring and knowledgeable story for future patients to read.
